| okay...i haven't updated this thing for awhile..
so ..what's new with me ... ?
uh...we had the ISO competition and me and this guy named daniel did the best out of the violin division...so we won a masterclass with Julia Fischer. It's on jan 4,let me know if you want to go. You'll recognize me as the one humiliating herself by trying to play Tchaikovsky violin concerto.
I'm excited to play in it cuz julia fischer is awesome... but i'm also dreading it because for some reason, i have a rep for being good at violin...*laughs*... which is totally untrue...and I'm sure that a lot of lag and iso kids are just going to the masterclass to see if i actually am good (ASST CONCERTMISTRESS MEANS NOTHING AT ISO!!!! grrrr)...then afterwards,they'll bash apart my playing behind my back... "lila's intonation is such ass,her bow arm is all yucky and her tone is disgusting..." yeah , that's what they'll probably say. They should try screaching out a few notes of tchaikovsky violin concerto... it's freaking hard man...!
Oh yeah,the MTA strike thing is fucking up my every day life, i can't get anywhere... im stranded in brooklyn, the only way i can get to the city is if someone drive's me. Now i understand how you jersey and westchester ppl feel... it sucks.

| So I saw HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE on saturday night and it was AMAZING!!!!!!! SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!! You HAVE to see it!!
Cedric Diggory (Robert Pattinson) is hot... REALLY hot.
Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is even more good looking.
Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) is so pretty!!
Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) is so adorable... he looks like a lion cub, lol.
Cho Chang (Katie Leung) is the worst actress i've ever seen... so disappointing!! She was only in like 3 scenes (thank god!!!!!) In the next movie, she's going to have a much bigger role... oh boy ... they should recast Cho.
Anywayz, to sum up everything, the movie is amazing, go see it. | | |
| If I could create an awesome violinist and choose the different aspects of playing from other living violinists i think that I would make him/her have Juila Fischer's tone/right hand, Gil Shaham's left hand, and Maxim Vengerov's musicality... (I might be willing to choose another person's musicality besides Vengerov's)
I know that some violinists, especially AMF violinists are probably going to be like "lila!! what are you thinking?!!" but W/E, it's MY CHOICE, mua ha ha ha!! | | |
